Perfectly coupled
Long-term stable fiber-coupling requires sub-micron precision and pointing stability. This is especially true when a polarization-maintaining single mode fiber is to be permanently attached to a free beam laser (Schäfter+Kirchhoff, Background: Victoria / Adobe Stock).
