IMS Nanofabrication GmbH is an Austrian based high-tech company, which over the last decade has become the global technology leader for multi electron beam mask writers. Our customer base includes the largest and most renowned chip manufacturers around the globe, who use our machines to produce state-of-the-art logic and memory chips in their EUV lithography processes. The IMS multibeam mask writer has become a key enabling technology to advance leading-edge chip development and production while also advancing Moore’s law.
The challenge that comes with these advancements is to pattern flawless photomasks, which meet the highest standards for placement accuracy, pattern fidelity, and resolution, while keeping write times at a minimum. IMS is delivering the solution by developing and producing complex e-beam lithography machines, which utilize close to 600,000 individually controllable electron beams to simultaneously write complex chip designs onto a photomask. By now, our multibeam technology has become the standard tool in the most modern and advanced chip fabrication sites all around the world to enable high volume EUV mask manufacturing.

Carolin Burgstaller, a marketing and communications specialist, is the Senior Recruiting Manager at IMS Nanofabrication since 2023. She has a 15-year background leading Talent Acquisition and Employer Branding teams with international responsibility. In 2009, she moved to Vienna, Austria, where she played a key role in growing kununu, now Europe's largest employer review platform. Carolin later joined Partium, a company focused on artificial intelligence in the industrial sector. As the European Team Lead for Talent Attraction at one of the world's largest digital agencies, she guided the company through the challenges of the COVID-19 years and supported its significant growth.

Stefan Kuhn holds a PhD in Quantum Optics and Quantum Nanophysics from the University of Vienna. He joined IMS in 2019 as Technical Project Manager, where he was responsible for Multibeam Maskwriter deliveries around the globe. In 2022, Stefan moved to California, to lead IMS USA Operations, establish local offices, and build up Customer Support Teams.
