Speaker:
Dr. Nils Haverkamp
Nils is a physicist with roughly twenty-five years of experience in scientific instrumentation, optical metrology and advanced manufacturing. He earned his Physics degree at the University of Heidelberg focusing on instrumentation for nuclear and neutron research. During his PhD from the University of Hannover, he worked on femtosecond lasers as clockworks for atomic clocks. At Zeiss he worked in production technology development at Carl Zeiss SMT, multisensor coordinate metrology systems at Carl Zeiss IMT, and in the last years at Carl Zeiss Corporate Research as an Innovations Manager for manufacturing innovations.
